Who we are
Mosaic is a documentary film production company founded in Mallorca 15 years ago.
Our films have participated in festivals such as IDFA, Hotdocs, Malaga Festival, Docaviv, Festival dei Popoli, Doc Edge or Seminci, among others. And they have been distributed on international television and platforms.
We currently have projects in production and post-production development with European, national and regional funding.
For 4 years we have been the organizers of the MajorDocs Film Festival.
What we are looking for
A creative post-production manager who is passionate about documentary filmmaking to join our production company immediately. Its main mission will be to monitor projects from their development, production and post-production to their distribution and promotion.
Among its functions are:
- Editing documentaries and other pieces, as well as trailers, promos or spots.
- Basic post-production of certain parts.
- Technical coordination of ongoing projects (formats, order and storage, disk backups, etc.).
- Final master export tasks: subtitling, renderings for the different platforms (DCP’s, televisions, Vimeo, etc).
- Maintenance of the production company’s technical material.
- Film print coordinator during the MajorDocs Festival who concentrates on the reception and management of copies and materials.
Requirements
- Knowledge and complete management of the development, production and post-production processes of a documentary film.
- English and Catalan medium.
- Residence in Mallorca.
- Proven experience in editing documentaries.
- Management of Adobe Premiere and Photshop.
