Founded in Mallorca in 2007, Mosaic is an independent production company specialising in creative documentaries. We produce auteur films for a global audience, guided by a humanist and artistic vision with a Mediterranean and European spirit.
We are drawn to bold stories that explore identity conflicts, human and existential relationships, and the lives of those who inhabit the margins of society, utopian individuals and unsung heroes.
Our productions have been selected in more than a hundred international festivals, including IDFA, CPH:DOX, Hotdocs, Thessaloniki IFF, Málaga, RIDM, SEMINCI, San Francisco IFF, MoMa, Encounters or Dokufest.
Mosaic is a member of DAE, EURODOC, DOCMA, PROA and APAIB.
Since 2019, we have also organized MajorDocs, the first international documentary film festival in Mallorca.

Michael Eek
Producer and director
(Madrid, 1982) I was born from the encounter of a woman from Granada with a Catalan-Swede. I grew up between Madrid, Mallorca, Stockholm and Barcelona where I graduated in Documentary Directing at ESCAC. I live in the contradiction of being a producer and a director and I have not yet found a satisfactory solution. In spite of everything, I am privileged because I dedicate myself to one of the best jobs I know.
