Who we are
Mosaic is a documentary film production company founded in Mallorca 15 years ago.
Our films have participated in festivals such as IDFA, Hotdocs, Malaga Film Festival, Docaviv, Festival dei Popoli, Doc Edge or Seminci, among others. And they have been distributed on television and international platforms.
We currently have projects in development, production and postproduction with European, national and regional funding.
For the last 4 years we have been the organizers of the MajorDocs Film Festival.
What we are looking for
A creative Executive Producer with a passion for documentary filmmaking to join our production company immediately. Your main mission will be to monitor projects from development, production and post-production to distribution and promotion.
Among its functions are:
– Writing of film dossiers for funds and televisions.
– Drafting and management of budgets (Excel) and use of project material.
– Seeking financing for films in development.
– Coordinate timely communication between the production company, co-producers, broadcasters, funds, financiers and distributors of films.
– Ensure timely and accurate project coordination and execution.
– Coordinate public communications in both traditional media and social networks concerning the production company’s films.
– Attendance at markets and film festivals as needed for films.
Requirements
– Complete knowledge and management of the development, production and post-production processes of a documentary film.
– English medium-high.
– Residence in Mallorca or at least availability to travel and spend time in Mallorca. If not based in Mallorca, ability to work remotely.
– Demonstrated experience in documentary film production.
– Excel office skills.
